Transportation & Moving
Facilities Management has one cube truck dedicated to moves within the Halifax campuses
All requests for transportation and moving services are booked through FAMIS. Once a request is made, you will be contacted by the appropriate Facilities Management staff person to discuss details.听 Please keep in mind:
- There is only one university vehicle dedicated to transportation and moving, available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Advance notice is required - 10 to 15 working days
- Due to intermittent labour shortages, there may be longer delays and very limited capacity to accommodate moves except in emergency situations. 听Work will be triaged as needed.

If you know you have several small moves upcoming, try and coordinate them all for one day.听 听 听 听 听 听听
Limited service dates
Service will be limited on specific dates due to other activities happening on campus like convocations, Open House, and exam set-up/tear-down. This includes the following time periods:
- First two weeks of October
- First three weeks of December
- First two weeks of April
- Last two weeks of May/first week of June听
