BRIC NS is Nova Scotia’s Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations Network, funded through CIHR’s Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research. We offer an annual student research award to graduate students conducting research in an area related to primary and integrated health care.Â
The BRIC NS Student Research Award is offered annually to a minimum of two participants. In addition to receiving this prestigious recognition, BRIC NS will contribute an award of $1500 (non-renewable) to assist the recipient in furthering their research. Award recipients will be required to present their primary care research project at a BRIC NS event within 12 months of receiving the award. Applications are open from May 21 to July 22, 2024.
Eligibility:
To be considered for this award, applicants must:
- Be a member of BRIC NS (membership is free and can be obtained on our )
- Be a Master’s Student, Doctoral Student, or Medical Resident attending a Nova Scotia post-secondary institution
- Be engaged in primary care research in
