The Studying for Success Tutoring Program (Halifax Campuses) is seeking qualified undergraduate and graduate student tutors in a variety of courses/fields, in particular: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, and Statistics.
Potential tutors must be current undergraduates (Year 2 or above), graduate students, OR recent Dal alumni with a minimum of an A- in the course(s) they wish to tutor, and with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Tutoring runs through the entire year, and new tutors are accepted on an on-going basis throughout the school year.
In addition to getting paid for their services and feeling good about helping fellow students succeed, tutors can include tutoring on their Co-Curricular Record (CCR). It's an excellent way to give back - and get back!
All the requirements are listed in the job posting on and in the job description on our website. Please spread the word and encourage students to apply.
