9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ has released version 2 of the . A key climate adaptation strategy is to secure back-up power while exploring low carbon solutions. 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ currently has diesel back-up generators for some of our properties, for some systems, but not all.
The 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ Office of Sustainability, in conjunction with Facilities Management, is working with a consultant to identify and record back-up power problems, needs and opportunities at our Halifax and AC campuses. A particular focus will be on core university functions such as research.
As part of the study, this campus-wide survey will collect direct information from 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ faculty, staff and students on this topic. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. In addition, if you would like to provide information and comments via email or set-up a meeting with the study team please email rethink@dal.ca.
The survey is open from Wednesday, November 3, 2021 to Friday, November 17, 2021.
