The Centre for Learning and Teaching hosts a noon hour, Lunch & Learn series for faculty and administrative staff working in the online environment. The purpose of the Lunch and Learn series is to give faculty and administrative staff an opportunity to come together in a sharing environment to learn about what others are doing and to hear about current research and best practices.

The third session in the series, Reflecting on Faculty Perspectives on E-Learning, will take place on Friday December 8, 2017, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.  The session will hosted in the Killam Li​brary, Room B400, and will be offered via video-conference to the Truro campus, MacRae Library.

Reflecting on Faculty Perspectives on E-Le​​arning​

In 2013, 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ conducted a survey of faculty about e-learning, which was the instigator for a number of support service and educational technology changes on campus over the past few years.  In the spring of 2017 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ once again surveyed faculty on their attitudes, practices and beliefs about e-learning and educational technologies.  This lunch and learn will focus on presenting some of the results of the survey and engaging participants in a discussion about the implications of the results – including the changes (or not) between 2013 and 2017 – for the future of e-learning at 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂ.
