For the individuals who have reached maximum Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) contribution levels at some time in 2016, your contributions will recommence in January 2017.
For the 2017 tax year the maximum contribution levels are $2,564.10 based on an annual maximum salary of $55,300.00 for CPP and $836.19 based on an annual maximum salary of $51,300.00 for EI.
