The University annually reviews the per diem rates for travel, taking into consideration changes in cost and comparability with other institutions.

As a result of this review the University per diem rates (excluding NSGEU Faculty & Staff in Local 3) will increase as follows:

• Breakfast per diems will increase from $9.00 to $10.00 per day bringing the total meal per diems from $47.00 to $48.00 per day.
• Kilometer rates for vehicle use will increase from $0.43 to $0.44.
  

These revised rates will come into effect as of July 1, 2014. All other rates remain unchanged.

Rates for NSGEU Faculty (EDC) (Local 3) are posted separately on the Financial Services website.
