The moot committee is pleased to announce the advocates chosen to argue the Smith Shield moot in 2016–2017. They are 2Ls Nina Butz, Lisa Delaney, Nick Hooper, Vinayak Mishra and alternate Katrin MacPhee.
The Smith Shield has been a prestigious 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ mooting tradition since 1927. One of the highlights of the academic year, the Smith Shield sees four of the law school's best mooters make their arguments before a distinguished panel of judges.
"On behalf of the moot committee, I want to offer my congratulations to each of them for their superb advocacy. Well done!," says Professor Cynthia Chewter, a moot committee member.
