Rhonda MacPherson (Martell)聽Class of 2001
Erik Martell and Rhonda MacPherson were in the same art class their very last year (last semester) of university.聽Rhonda鈥檚 roommate, Stacey Pynch, (Class of 2001) and she had gone out one evening to the "Barn', which was a rare occurrence since both girls lived off-campus.聽
Having such a great time, they weren't ready to end their night and headed over to Chevy's.聽 After some dancing (in a cage, perhaps) Matt Blackburn and Erik offered to buy us drinks (tequila shots, I believe) and the dating began, Stacey and Matt, as well as Erik and myself, two perfect matches made at the AC.聽
We were married in 2003 less than a month apart, have two beautiful children similar in age and are still great friends to this day.聽
Our best love advice would be to listen to your partner and always be appreciative of one another.聽 Not sure where our favorite spot on campus would be, but there's never a drive to Truro without taking a spin around campus and reminiscing about the fun we had.聽聽
Erik and Rhonda live in New Glasgow. Rhonda works for Lawton's long- term care as a registered pharmacy technician and Erik is the superintendent for Abercrombie golf club.
