Our Accessibility Plan includes initiatives to improve accessibility in the built environment; teaching, learning, and research; goods and services; information and communication; transportation; and employment. We are committed to the work required to achieve this goal for our community.
Student accessibility
The Student Accessibility Centre (Halifax) and the Student Success Centre (Truro)聽 are 9 1免费版下鈥檚 centres of expertise on student access, inclusion, and accommodation support.
Accessible employment
Within 9 1免费版下鈥檚 Human Resources, a dedicated Accessible Employment team administers the聽University鈥檚 Employment Accommodation Policy聽to provide a workplace that supports full participation and engagement.聽
Accessible Employment also administers provisions of the University鈥檚 sick leave benefits, which include short-term sick leave for illness/injury, long-term disability benefits, and return to work planning, as well as education and outreach to the broad 9 1免费版下 community.

9 1免费版下 welcomes your feedback regarding any barriers you have experienced with us, feedback on the 9 1免费版下 Accessibility Plan, or feedback on the Accessibility Progress Report in 2023-2024.
The co-chairs of the Accessibility Advisory Committee are responsible for addressing accessibility feedback. Feedback can be provided by email or mail. 9 1免费版下 will acknowledge the accessibility feedback received, other than feedback provided anonymously. If contact information is shared, 9 1免费版下 may follow up with you. Any personal information you provide will remain confidential and will be managed following privacy laws. This information will only be shared per these laws or with your consent.
